About GASC
The Georgia Association of Student Councils (GASC) is an organization dedicated to the development of student leaders and student councils throughout the state of Georgia. We strive to provide opportunities where councils can receive training and network with one another to foster creative ideas for service to the school and community, building school spirit, planning successful events, fundraising, and developing their local leaders. We provide support to advisors, student leaders, and councils through our annual state convention, regional “fundays”, website, online links, and newsletters. We encourage our members to attend Regional and National conferences and workshops and share new ideas back with members of GASC. We are continually working to increase the “benefits of membership” in GASC, so we can serve your council as new programs become available. The goal of GASC is to provide a place for student leaders and advisors to grow and learn from each other through sharing and leadership training to make all Georgia councils and schools the best they can be.
